decide for myself than listening to experts. HP books might not be perfect,
but if they were all about cliche, they couldn't have charmed 35 million
readers.

books. Although New York Times is a "not very literate" publication, it
is generally regarded as having a good taste.

Rowling's books ever become a study subject of any English literature class.
However, many ordinary readers like me read primarily for pleasure, and we
like a fun book as much as educational or spiritually enlightening ones, if
not more. Harry potter books IMHO mixed fantasy, suspense and
interesting/lovely characters quite well, and have the power of urging a large
group of readers to read on and on without food or sleep

professor is upset by NYT's book reviewers, he would do better to attack them

but they watch it anyway. I don't think comparing HP to porn does either side
injustice. Both are good entertainment, I personally prefer porn to HP. :-)

world-wide. So why look down up porn? Good porn can be literate and classy.
Let's read decameron, there are 3P, gay & lesbian, beastiality themes.
So what? It is classical.
There are countless examples. Comparing HP to porn may slightly increase

It can be textual, visual and audio. Who knows, someone is working on
the vitual reality porn experience. I expect there would be a HUGE
market for matrix-like porn products, hehe.
