The South University of Science and Technology in Shenzhen, China (SUSTC) is
seeking outstanding candidates for the Presidential Postdoctoral Fellowship
. A total of twenty (20) fellowships will be awarded annually in all major
science and engineering fields, beginning immediately. This prestigious
fellowship comes with an annual stipend of 300,000 RMB, plus subsidized
university housing accommodation depending on availability. Furthermore, the
recipients have the opportunity to work with their faculty advisors to
apply for research funding from the central and local governments. Upon
completion of the fellowship in two years, those who have performed
exceptionally will be encouraged to apply for tenure-track faculty positions
at SUSTC.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree recently awarded in a relevant science
and engineering field and have demonstrated promising potential as an
independent researcher. Those interested are invited to apply through the
