My wife just got her visa in Chengdu on July 7. Though my 8b-7a=-$2000
but I have on campus work(indeed it's a research assistantship) that worth
$4000. It seems that it's so simple for my wife to get her visa. In Chengdu
now, the VO who handle F2 visas is very nice. Good luck to you!
