最近加州中心的延期处理速度似乎很快，也好像容易获批准。
寄材料时附了一张清单，用小标签在每份材料注明了编号。
1. Confirmation receipt of e-filed application
2. Photocopy of father’s passport and Form I-94
3. Photocopy of mother’s passport and Form I-94
4. Statement that explains the reason for the extension request
5. Photocopy of valid flight tickets -- 写明如获批准则改期
Item 6-8: Evidence of financial support:
6. Copy of the employment offer/verification letter
7. Copy of pay slips
8. Copy of bank statements
附上$290 check (一个case, 两申请人).

Dear Officer,
My name is XXXXXX XXX and I am writing this statement on behalf of my father
(XXX, XXXXXX) and my
mother (XXX, XXXXXX), as they don't know the English language. They are
applying for an extension of stay.
They entered the U.S. on a valid B-2 visa .... ago, and their authorized
stay will expire on MM/DD/YYYY.
My parents like traveling very much. They have visited many great places in
China and ..... They came to the
U.S. once in YYYY and stayed several months with me. We had great pleasure
with them during those days,
visited some great places of California, such as ........ However, time
passed fast and soon they left us and
went back to China. There are still several exciting and beautiful places we
planned to visit and weren't able
to, such as ........ and other wonderful places on the east coast. Therefore
, I invited them to visit us again
several months ago so we could finish those trip plans.
However, since they arrived here, our trip plans have been postponed due to
several reasons. First, I started
a new job. I have been quite busy with the new job and did not get much
vacation time. Meanwhile, the bad
weather in this winter also affected out trip plans: it was raining almost
every day here, and the East Coast
snow storms made it impossible to visit there. Making the situation worse,
my mother recently hurt her
back, so she need some time to recover before making long trips.
For the above reasons, my parents would like to apply for an extension of
stay for a few months longer, so
they could have a chance to complete the travel plans. They may not have
such a chance in future as their
age and health condition may not allow them to take the long round trip
between China and U.S. anymore.
They will certainly return back to China before the extension expires; they
already have a return flight
booked on MM/DD/YYY. My mother's situation with her back may not be suitable
for the 12-hour fight
back to China by that time. We will change the flight if this application is
approved. They absolutely have no
intention to stay in the U.S. permanently or any longer than the extension
requested. They are used to the
living and culture in China, with all their old friends there, and the new
house they bought a couple years
ago.
My parents have retired years ago, so the extended stay will not affect
their life back in China. During the
duration of their stay, as their son, I will be fully responsible for all of
their living and travel expenses. I have
a secure job as .... at .... with an annual salary of .... (I included a
copy of the job offer letter and my pay
slips with this statement). My stable income and savings are sufficient to
support all their expenses while
they are in the United States.
I would greatly appreciate if you could give your favorable consideration to
my parents' application of
extension of stay. Thank you very much for your time and help! I wish you a

顺便问一下，父母同时延期，你们是填了几份申请表啊？申请费呢？
我读了表后的说明，配偶，21以下的小孩可以一起申请。这样是不是父母只需要填一份
表？但网上有人
说这样只收到一个人的延期批准。

还有关于飞机票的问题，是寄签证过期前的飞机票了，还是申请延期通过后的飞机票呢
