标 题: 取消中国公民签证电话预约费用的请愿

大家好！我们是新移民联合会（www.niunational.com），是一个致力于维护新移民利益的非营利性组织。
近日，美国白宫启动了We the People项目http://www.whitehouse.gov/wethepeople。此项目将用于民众向白宫直接请愿，反应民声，民怨。立案之后如果在３０天内得到至少5000人联名上书，白宫将派专人设立专案。请愿者将会得到政府正式回复。
我们了解到大家希望取消中国公民签证电话预约的不合理费用。我们准备请一位法律助理帮大家写这个“取消中国公民签证电话预约费用”的请愿，但是她需要素材，需要内容，请大家告诉我究竟请愿要说什么，有哪些网站可以查到相关资料。想说的内容用中文告诉我就可以。
我们的计划是先利用白宫请愿网站，但是请愿信只能有800个字母，然后再以NIU组织名义发一封完整的正式请愿信给国务院。所有这些都需要素材，需要知情者尽快告诉我们究竟要说什么。

现在电话费那马便宜，他们竟然收那马贵！贵就不说了，也不方便。为啥不能网上直接
预约？
在加拿大申请美国签证就是网上直接约时间，哪天有空档，哪天没有，一清二楚。 | s*********t
发帖数: 54 | 3 我去过悉尼的美国大使馆签过。在澳洲也是要交一个预约费用，不过是网上信用卡交，
自己可以选择available的签证时间，至少方便。 记不清费用是多少了，感觉是一样价

发帖数: 70 | 4 it took me 2 phone cards , 12 mins each, over $16 to made anppointment for
my parents, and one week later, my mum had a stroke, i have to reschedule,
it took them over 12 mins to cancell my father's appointment, and made a
new one, so I have to buy a 3rd card , and they scheduled my mum on an
different day!!!. now I have to buy the 5th card to schedule them for the
same day appointment.
I am beyond outrage.!!!
when they reschedule you, you can not simply change the date, you have to
tell them the passport number, personal ID #, name, pinyin, phone #, etc, in
order to cancel and tell these infomation again to reschedule.

发帖数: 70 | 5 这个我们妈妈们是不是一定要顶啊？ 加入取消了电话预约，用Online方式，要方便很
多，特别是老人们来签证也方便很多了。
需要去白宫网站建一个账号。9/26开始联署，10/26之前需要5000个签名，目前有1076
个了。

WE PETITION THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION TO:
Switching to a free online visa appointment scheduling system in China
US Embassy and Consulates in mainland China employ a third-party call
center to schedule visa interviews, which incurs a fee of $0.7/minute
and extensive traveling cost for buying pre-paid phone cards. This
system does not benefit the US government and nourishes corruption.
We the people urge the U.S. Embassy and Consulates to switch to a free
online system for visa-scheduling in China. If not, please explain why
visa applicants in most other countries and regions can schedule their
visa interviews online for free, which is efficient, accurate, and
cost-effective.
