Dear Sir/Madame:
I am a 4th year Ph.D student studying xxx in xxx. I came to U.S in Aug 2008
and went back home every winter in the past 2 years. This summer I just got
my Ph.D candidacy and now I am very busy writing my dissertation.
I would like to invite my mom xxx (born in xxx) to come to visit me this
winter and enjoy a good Christmas holiday in Hawaii since this would save
both of us time and she would not need to take long flight to Indiana as
Hawaii is in the middle of China and Indiana.
My mom will come to Hawaii with the tourist group from China and meet me to
travel together in Hawaii for about one week before she flies back. She will
pay for all her travel expenses and I will stay with her in xxx hotel,
Honolulu during our visit in Hawaii. My mom has to go back China right after
her trip in Hawaii to take care of my father and the company they run
together, plus there is not much to see in Indiana in the cold winter.
Your help in facilitating their applications will be greatly appreciated.
