I’m so glad to write you this letter in support of the B-2 visa
applications of my parents, XXX and XXX. They plan to visit us from this
October to November,2012.
I obtained my Master Degree at the University of xxx in xxx. I am currently
work as XXX for XXX. I am a green card holder. My husband, XXX, is a US
citizen who is working as XXX for XXX.
I went back to China this April and attended my cousin’s wedding. It was a
very wonderful family reunion. I am still missing my parents. I am very
happy to invite them to the US and share my American style life with them.
In this trip, my parents will stay in the America for only 3 months. They
will stay with us in the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday. Also we will
take a tour in New York, Washington DC and Florida.
The trip to the States will be a temporary family reunion. XXX is the
hometown of my parents, where they have been living for over 60 years. Both
of them have decent annual incomes in the local area. Before they retired,
they worked as middle level management in the largest local stated-owned
company: XXX Now they are still helping with friends and family member’s
small business. My mom, XXX are helping with my aunt’s XXX store. And my
Dad, XXXXXX is managing a XXX company for his friend. They are very strong
ties to China. They will go back to China after this trip.
For the expense of this trip, my parents will cover their own plane tickets.
I will cover the cost during their stay in the States, including, but not
limited to, medical insurance, travel expense, and food.
I have enclosed the list of all documents as appropriate. Your help in
facilitating their application will be greatly appreciated. Please do not

先说头一段吧,你知道读信人的身份,就尽量写近VISA Officer。
I是谁,记得你跟一个陌生人说话。
support慎用,因为没有人有实力support申请人让VO改变观点。
us模糊,如同I。
日期是Oct-Nov,不要认为VO想着2个月,VO会认为一个月,如果VO问你来几个月,你回
答两个月,VO就会认为跟邀请信一个月有冲突。等于自己给自己埋地雷。

其他都认同。support这个词一点都不符合逻辑,你是不是support跟签证毫无关系。这
封信的功能就是你作为邀请人的确在邀请某某某,就是确认一下。I am writing to
verify that...这种开头比较professional一点

Dear Visa Officer:
This letter is to confirm that My husband, XXX and I, XXX, would like to
invite my parents, XXX and XXX to visit us in XXX XX, USA for tourism
purpose. They will stay with us at the above address for about 3 months.
I came to the US in XXX as student (F-1) and obtained my Master's Degree at
