发帖数: 144 | 1 我去年PHD转MS毕业，没有回过国。 没有用毕业典礼为名邀请，父母签证被拒。
戏剧化的是，后来上海使馆打电话到家里来，说是因为我没有守承诺（指我MS毕业工作，
而没有回国），不能给我父母签证。
很愤怒，写信申诉：No matter what my intention is by your judgement, it should
not be the reason to reject my parents' visa. After all, they have no interest
in living in US for more than several months.
然后让公司老板写了信： her work schedule and value to the company make it
difficult for her to visit her parents in China.解释我为什么没回国。
感觉这次一定会拿到这迟来一年的签证。祝福老爸老妈。
也希望以我的经历给大家提个醒：尽量不要在刚转身份的敏感时期去签证，以免碰到有的
签证官脑子转不过来。还有就是材料准备充分（ |
