SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - North Dakota's state coroner says the lead guitarist for
the heavy metal band GWAR died of a heart condition. Records show that a
drug screening detected cocaine and opiates in his system.
State medical examiner Dr. William Massello (muh-SEHL'-oh) III says in his
report that Cory Smoot died of "coronary artery thrombosis brought about by
his pre-existing coronary artery disease."
The formation of such blood clots can result in a heart attack.
The 34-year-old Smoot performed since 2002 under the name "Flattus Maximus"
with the Virginia-based band known for its comically grotesque sci-fi/
fantasy-based costumes, stage antics and vulgar lyrics.
He was found dead Nov. 3 on the GWAR tour bus in the North Dakota town of
Pembina following a concert the night before in Minneapolis. |

突然想到，不知道有没有网站专门记录musician去世的消息。。特别是rock musicians。
基本上以后几年这方面的需求会越来越多。。。

发帖数: 63 | 5 巧在吉他手Flattus Maximus死在北美巡演的前夜 乐队并没有取消巡演而是把整个巡演
用来跟歌迷一起纪念他 我碰巧又去了其中在Hollywood的场次 其实乐队本身的音乐我
也不熟悉，只不过听很多人推荐过他们的现场 看了后还真有那么一回意思 也推荐给各
位 哈哈

80末90初的时候混的挺主流 上上电视节目什么的 玩的风格也特杂 基本上是什么硬核
