just plain painful. But today's
workout was all about getting high. I don't even recall a moment of pain.

Not too difficult if he has the talent and train consistently.
His 5k time progression could look like this:

But I think most of us don't have the talent to go this far...

interesting to observe the elite level
1500m races. They really need pacemakers to help sustaining a fast pace. In
the olympics, when there are no
pacemakers, the 1500m time is always slower compared to other world class
1500m events. Nobody wants to
run that hard when they don't absolutely need to.
