What drew you to running, rather than some other sport like cycling?
I love the simplicity of it. You need a pair of sneakers. I thought about
tennis. But the more I thought about the whole thing—lessons, equipment,
going to the courts—I said screw it, I'm just going to go buy a pair of
sneakers and go running. It's very simple, but there's also a lot of
strategy and opportunity if you want to go deeper. It reminds me | A***a
