'chassis'? Is it because of the cushioning? I do not like the feeling of
running with thick/high sole. You risk more dangers of twisting your
ankle. Also with thicker sole, your foot can only hit the ground within a
narrower angle.
Any suggestions/opinions? |

if you do not like supportive (stablity shooes). go for netural?

Thanks for replying. What are the benefits of "support"? I only see very
few web sites/stores list their shoes with the "neutral" category.
Can I buy cross-training shoes for running? Some of the cross-training
shoes do not have thick sole.

Actually it has been a long yet unsolved debate about which kind of shoes
are better for running, with ideas ranging from high supportive shoes to
minimalists with a thin layer under the feet to even barefoot. I think
the good way is to try them out, and see which types are suitable for you.
In your case, since you don't like those thick shoes, just go for some
thinner ones and be vary careful about how you feel after running a while
them to make sure you are not injured.

发帖数: 114 | 7 Thank you for your input. I am looking for thin shoes with good air
cushioning. I need at least cushioning at soles or even underneath the
front feet. Not sure if this is a good idea. I think sometimes too
much cushioning just makes running more tiring and slows you down. My
understanding is that with more cushioning, when you hit the ground, the
cushion compresses and then bounces back. The whole process takes time
and neutralizes some of your forces.
I am curious what kinds of shoes others use. I mainly run on sand
beaches and occasionally on sidewalks.

什么原理不清楚， 而且非常轻。。不过相对于这个价格， 觉得
不太值。。。再好的鞋， 穿几百迈也完蛋了。。
