Today I brought it out for a run, my 305 still couldn't pick up any
signal!
When I was back in home, I tried various way, it is still dead.
Hope I just messed up something, the strap should last much longer | w********6

web forum:
1. clean the contact
2. there is a gold side contact, bent it so that it will make contact
3. change battery if necessary (after two to three years)
4. make sure cover is properly on (BTW, use a quarter to open or close)
5. rescan the heart rate strap
after a few trials, it works like charm | b***i

critical moment this year, before that I will be extremely busy
