Patrik Li, a consultant at a European trade and investment firm and one of
Beijing's most formidable nonprofessional runners and triathletes, finds the
17 to 20 hours of training he does weekly distinctly unpleasurable. "Here I
look at training as a job, as something I have to do," he says. "There is
no joy. I'd say that's true for most people. It's pure dedication that keeps
them going." Originally from Switzerland, Li, 36, almost salivates when he
thinks about running in the crystalline air of his homeland. "Whenever I go
back, I feel so much better. Running is a joy. Here there are good days and
there are bad days. I find that if you get sick, it's hard to get well again
."
Li ran the Beijing Marathon in 2005, and though he finished in 2:39, he
disliked the experience so much, he didn't return this year. "The Beijing
Marathon was terrible, a nightmare," he says. "We were stopped at a red
light to let cars go by. You're running with all these cars next to you.
There are so many beautiful courses in the world, and this has to be the

过线前的时间

发帖数: 490 | 7 02-05年都跑过全马，其中有一年遇到旁边行人不听交警指挥直接穿过的情况，至于等
红灯则完全没有遇到过。至于说旁边都是车的情况，更是没有遇到过。05年比赛，比该
老外慢了26分钟，反正至少我一路上是没有遇到红灯、车辆奔驰的情况。
关于训练多么的糟糕，揣测这个老外是水土不服吧。至少我在北京跑步那么多年，没有
该老外说的如此夸张。
出现等红灯、车的情况除非是比赛预定时间结束了还没跑完，那时候道路都开放了。

尽管据说北京路况和环境不好，跟大连和厦门比，不过基本的都还是做了的。。。 |
