发帖数: 1283 | 1 Joined three undergrads, two of them freshmen, to the skyline trail of the
fells. It took over 5 miles just to get there, and one of them was
struggling to keep up in the humid and hot weather. Two guys turned back
just a mile into a trail. The other, very speedy freshman went ahead but got
hopelessly lost and eventually joined me again after about 4 miles on the
trail. It was an easy pace for him but I was struggling to keep up. I later
learned that he had run a 15:32 5K in high school. Running up rocks with
post-race dead legs was not too much fun. Finished with about 14 miles.
Gotta rest up tomorrow. |
