Today might be the last 90+ day this year. Tomorrow will
be 52-79F, a sharp drop, then the next 10 days will be
sub 89F. Planned a long run for today. But decided to run
long tomorrow in much cooler weather. So only 5 miles
in the morning.
By the way, Garmin 610 is really much better than 405cx/410.
Recommend go straight to 610 and bypass 4xx to save in the

longer than the 8h of 410.
610 is much easier to use, touch screen is a million year better
than 410 touch bezel, especially while running - no headache at all.
610 screen can be set to always on, good for evening runs - not sure
about 410.
610 GPS is the main strength. For 610, it can lock on within 10s in
good weather day. So I can start to run right away. I still remember
how cold it was in cold winter days waiting for 410 to get GPS locked.
I even tried foot pod in bad winter days instead of GPS.
So in summary, 610 gives me better experience instead of struggles
in almost all aspects.

I always do that with my good old 305.

发帖数: 2634 | 9 I have two residences. One is very close to Canada.
I will go to the "north pole" residence soon, and already
started missing my son (he will stay). He is too little
to travel 6.5 hours with me in the car seat - He actually
can, but I'd rather not let him do so).
It is so sad... He is the only one for whom I live.
Good thing is that the north is much cooler now, and I will
start my winter lhr training early.Then I will come back
regularly to this warmer place to run my familiar route even
in the winter outside.
