time is gorgeous, life is not as stressed as in NY, traffic can be bad from
time to time. House there are not cheap though, I don't know about the
details now but it used to be on par with some part of NJ.
Dallas (texas overall) houses are very cheap, for 250k you can get a big
house, everything is wide open, they have all the pro sports teams ( maybe
important to your LD), it is not as humid as you think, some times you might
feel it is a bit boring... |

don't want to move too often, spend time and energy to settle down and get

know someone loves to move and get exposure to new thing. Not me.
my LD doesn't like NY though, he complains a lot about the traffic, housing,
weather. Actually, I don't think
we can avoid commuting even if we move to texas. My friend in Dallas, she
need to drive 45mins to work

Plano is good town, as well as Frisco
for benyaya, if you work in downtown Dallas, and live in North, traffic will
be big issue
but there are a lot of big companies' headquarters in north Dallas/Plano/

you have to drive a lot or travel far, I have some friends who live in plano
while work is in Fort Worth ( speaking of which, has a very good zoo), it
takes him one hour one way, mostly due to distance rather than traffic jam. |

德州对我的吸引力就是豪宅了， 加州随便一个三室二浴一千七百尺的房子都要七八十
万的。 |

光一楼就有5700多sq ft，90万，院子里还有个喷水的湖，全新的房子。
主卧厕所就比我apt的卧室大多了，2个walking的closet。每个bedroom都有自己的厕所
和walking closet
橡木地板，高档厨具，抽烟烟机是那种给餐馆厨房用的。冰箱有4个。
还有酒窖。
本来觉得根本没必要住那么大的房子，看了那个后，直流口水。
可惜我还是买不起啊
