damned Chairman Mao's decision to 肢解 JTU. Part of the reason has been
Shanghai is not a good place for academic study.)
However, you know nothing about JTU before 1949.
Most of the execellent guys went to excellent graduate schools like
MIT, Caltech. E.g. Qian was not really that bad as you said. He WAS
an execellent scientist before he involved in the politics later on.
That is why "解放前的中央研究院交大学人几乎一个没有。", because at that

发帖数: 22 | 2 偶身为交大人,对母校的感情还是颇为复杂的.一方面本能上要去维护其尊严(其
实也是在维护自己的面子),另一方面,仔细想一下,也有很多怕揭的痛处.
从一进校开始,充耳的就满是对"光辉历史"的追忆,就像国人对四大发明念念不忘
一样,自豪有一点点,更多的是觉得可悲.历史说明不了现实.
但是,也不能就此将交大说的一钱不值.多了不说,至少80年代初中期因其教学改革
的先行一步,交大在那时候还是相当响的一块牌子.至于后来的没落是否应归咎于
翁一人身上,因本人对上面管理层的不了解,也就不得而知了.
如果说交大是院系调整的最大受害者,那么清华(还有北大)则是最大的受益者.加之
与中央政府的地宜关系,财力人力方面的优势是其他高校所不能相比拟的.
最后说点题外话,借贬低别人以抬高自已,爱窝里斗,典型的丑陋的中国人. | s****u

thank you guys for typing in english.
first, i wasn't angry at all. i just wanted to say it's better for us to
stick to the truth and make efforts to improve the situation than just to sit
in front of a computer and type and argue and finally find your entire
arguement is based on an illusion.
frankly speaking, sjtu's been heading south for a long time.
academic performance is the foundation on which an academic organization
builds its upper architecture. look at the elite schools in u.s.a. and |
