I use computers in library, so I cannot listen to anythig.
I have no recollection of this song (by the title). But that does not mean
there was no such song in Taiwan. I have a tin ear, totally can not
appreciate music.
I converted the simplified Chiense to traditional Chinese and found lyrics.

YOu missed my sentnece in the previous posting that said, "In fact,
nothing--no literature, history, music, and so on--crossed the Taiwan
Strait to Taiwan, from establishment of Republic of China in 1912 (exceptfor
a few exceptions such as 胡适, who moved to Taiwan anyway). Pay heed to
1912, which was not 1949.

On Jan. 20, 1979, former County Commissioner 前高雄縣長余登發 (as well as
his son) was arrested for, among other things, copying articles from Asahi
Shimbun that reported "about PRC" (the vague statement was what KMT
government released; specifically 中國人代會葉劍英常務委員長「三通四流」報導
, as I just found online). Whether Asahi Shimbun could be legally imported
into Taiwan at the time, I did not know (at the time). But I was very angry
at the charges (but finally decided to say or do nothing).
