今天发现，上周末的两天中有人用我的卡在costa mesa 的 wal-mart, apple store 和
monterey park的Seafood village 狂刷$2000+. 我打电话去银行查帐，被告知那些
交易都是现场发生的(card was swiped)，也就是说，有人复制了我的卡。
记得以前有人说过san diego 有家餐馆有偷卡的不良记录。 我的卡被盗用前一周，恰
好去过某一家餐馆，不知道是不是入了黑店了。 有类似经历的请私底下交流一下。谢

柜台下面扫描. 几个小时之内复制卡就会在亚洲的豪华首饰店里被消费了.

发帖数: 1706 | 12 The good thing is that I didn't use this card too much in the past month or
two. So it should be easy to identify the leakage. There is only one prime
suspect at this point, and I remember someone on this BBS mentioned that
particular vendor. So I hope I could get some confirmation...
But as Yudeli pointed out, the card could have been leaked more than one
year ago when I received the replacement card. (Having been using the same
Credit card for 11 years..)

activated to use. Usually, for credit card, if it is not activated within
certain time frame, it would be invalid.

with credit card number....

买中餐馆的收银服务员 让他们复制顾客的信用卡，后来还抓了不少人。 |

发帖数: 1706 | 19 This is not the worst happened to me. Back in 2001, my credit card, which was never activated, was charged by a magazine because I never declined after a trial copy, which I never received.
So I called the CC company (MBNA), and was told that they activated the card after nine months automatically for me, and they "shared" some of my info with their "partners". So I have the figure out the rest.
By the time I called MBNA, I was holding the credit card with the sticker on the top.

I realized it immediately after I swiped card, seeing the sticker on the
card. But the transaction went through! It did happen! |
