I think it's a risk. but I also think car thieves are usually too scared
to drive the stolen car back into the neighborhood of where they stole the
car from, let along the car owner's house.
maybe that's just wishful thinking... but I myself woudln't be worried
about that.

I have read news somewhere that the car thief used the GPS "Go Home" feature
and took him to the car owner's residence and broke in there. So the news
suggested to use a neighborhood police or fire station as your "home"
address.
Nowadays you can't over- or understimate one's intelligence anymore. :)

发帖数: 1242 | 15 我们也试过晚上或者白天出去没关车库门，可是不能因为以前没事就认为以后没事。前
一阵子听新闻说scripps ranch那边有几家人回家后没有关车库门就把grocery 拿进屋
里去，就这么一会儿有小偷进车库要不藏起来，要不把侧门打开了留着晚点时间再回头
作案。
我主要是觉得要是真的来偷东西，我还希望我不在家，起码不用吓一跳。
