一查天气预报, 从今天到周六全下雨,
周六还storm, 那花不都被打掉了, 地里还一踩一脚泥,真郁闷.... | c******n

). The Flower Field is next to the mall. Your kids may like Lego land.
Also, wild flower is wild flower. Don't expect it to be as amazing as
flower field in full bloom. :-) | c******n

。。。我常想其他地方雨水多，可能好花常在，不像我们一年盼次野花。。。

Go to Carlsbad's Outlet (get off on Parloma Airport Rd on Rte 5).
If the flowers in the flower field looks nice, go inside. Otherwise, you can
go shopping in the outlet.

Drive east along Cannon Road for 5 miles (the next exit after Parloma
Airport on Rte 5, then you get a taste of the so-called wild flowers in
SoCal. It is OK, but probably won't worth you a full day.
Here are some other things you can do in Carlsbad and surrounding area:
1. Go shopping in outlet
2.Visit the San Diego Botanical Garden in Encinitas. They have two nice
children's gardens, dessert garden, tropical garden, and small orchard there
.
Go to the State Beach
3. Go downtown
4. A fellow BBS San Diegoen suggests go to Northern part of Carlsbad, not
sure if it is the same area as downtown
5. Strawberry picking
6. Make Music museum close to the Legoland exit on Cannon Rd
7. Drive further east on Cannon Rd, and you will see a nature center on your
left, you can go there and take a little hike on the trail. There used to
be swallows, but I don't think they are back yet. | s*********5
