At least within 5 years, I do not think Huawei/ZTE can compete against
Qualcomm. They are in totally different fields: system vs device/patent.

own chipset. For some low end phones, they have started to use hisilicon.
Hisilicon made a mistake to focus on WM years ago.
Based on their increasing number of patents and their reputation of
capturing market, it may be a very serious competitor after mediatek.

谁都知道靠pattern垄断很招嫉恨，也难持久，所以小jacob这些年把公司转型成一个
chipset maker,也很成功。
好不好主要是看公司的文化，产品竞争力，这方面qcom确是有下降的趋势，没办法，人
到中年，楼主就是在报告这情况。

五年前CISCO也可以说“着什么急找不到增长点的公司多了去了。微软也找不到呢...怕
啥'，可是五年后现在？
QCOM处的竞争环境，像CISCO的多点，还是Microsoft多点？
感觉HW/ZTE真的很恐怖，想海平面，淹没中国农村后中国城市，淹没世界农村（亚非拉
）后世界都市（大洋洲，欧洲，美洲）。淹没组装贴牌后系统集成，现在开始淹芯片集
成--》芯片设计。。。
不知多久会将芯片几年内淹掉？估计根本用不了十年，不知五年的可能性有多大？这个
倒是可是影响SD的房价很厉害的。
