A local decent SPA in downtown (Hillcrest) San Diego is looking for a part-
time front desk. Duties include but not limited to answering phone calls,
scheduling appointments and charging clients.
Must speak both English and Chinese. Front desk experience is preferred but
not required. Working hours are flexible. Students preferred!

MEG Systems Specialist
Elekta is the manufacturer of Elekta Neuromag, a sophisticated
Magnetoencephalography (MEG) system that is extensively used in pre-surgical
localization of epilepsy and mapping of the eloquent cortex, including
motor functions, hearing and vision.
Clinical research applications of MEG include such neurological and
psychiatric disorders as autism, traumatic brain injury, memory and brain
function, schizophrenia, depression, as well as various learning disorders,
including dyslexia. Furthermore, MEG is extensively used in normal cognitive
functions that underlie memory and language.
Elekta is seeking a MEG Systems Specialist to join our team!
The MEG Systems Specialist will be responsible for on-site diagnostics and
repair services as well as preventative maintenance services on Elekta MEG
Systems at our customer site.
The MEG System Specialist must be customer focused and an expert in general
mechanical and electronic areas. All repairs should be effected in a timely
fashion while meeting required administrative requirements. This position
warrants the undivided support of projects, programs, and policies
established by the company.
The Selected Candidate Will:
Independently perform installations, complex troubleshooting, repairs
maintenance, and preventative maintenance on Elekta MEG systems
Work safely on Elekta’s MEG systems. Not intended to work on other
modalities
Assist End Users by troubleshooting equipment via the telephone.
Instruct customers and staff in proper use of the equipment
Identify/evaluate products and bring up to current manufacturing
specifications
Prepare repair estimates and statements. Submit timely and accurately;
service reports, timesheets, expense reports, and other paper work as
assigned
Stay current on all new developments in the Elekta MEG product line
Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
Incorporates Elekta Values into all department functions and
responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience preferably in Engineering,
Physics or a related field. MSEE/MSME preferred
Minimum of 3 years related service/support experience with on-going
skills development preferred
Must have effective written and verbal communication skills and proven
electrical, mechanical and computer skills. Ability to organize and prepare
reports
Understand the project blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
Basic Linux/Unix, Microsoft Office and Networking Infrastructure
knowledge required. Proficiency in the use of test equipment and hand tools
including oscilloscopes, multi-meters
Excellent troubleshooting skills. Ability to rapidly identify and
resolve issues under pressure. Previous MEG or EEG experience not mandatory,
but preferred
Must maintain an active Passport to allow international travel. Must be
able to travel extensively throughout North America as required. Some
international travel will likely also be required
Must maintain an active driver’s license in the home state.
