back in February, I asked the ISO to renew as soon as possible (it expired
on Aug). They said they do not want and only do it 45 days in advanced. The
I-129 petition sent out in June 8th.
I still did not received my approval notice yet. With the approval notice, I
cannot get my drivers' license renewed and super inconvenient as this
moments. Also, I am carrying my passport around everyday , in case.
When I heard I will have DMV issue in June, I contacted ISO several times
and they never replied.
Now, I am in a very angry state.
I want to do something about it.
I want to ask them to pay $1500 premium fee to speed up my petition.
I want to complaint them to school's higher level.
I want to expose this to medium due to their irresponsibility and
indifference, they are not doing their job to help international researchers
here at all.
Anyone give me some advice/suggestion, how to draft the letter, how to
complain.

看你那英语写的，人也不定能看懂，再说6，7月都
放假了，学校里也没什么人，人按时申请你的H1B，
只不过你想提前申请，属于额外的要求，人没理你而已。

boss, and the HR director.
They think it is ISO's fault and they will pay $1500 premium fee to
accelerate my case tomorrow.
I want to thank everyone who has supported me for this matter, thank you for
your understanding and constructive suggestions. I want thank some of you
that do not believe in me, and more importantly I want to tell everybody:
if you want to fight for your own rights, do it!

do with fighting for your right. This is called manipulating a bureaucratic
system to work for you. You need to know who you should talk to and how you
should talk.

发帖数: 2075 | 32 我觉得你有点小题大做了。你的DMV的驾照的问题我自己就碰到过，我知道别人也有类
似的问题，最后都顺利解决了，无非就是一个等字。加州的驾照renew 是和H1B签证到
期的日期link在一起的，你要么等到你的H1续了以后再去续你的驾照，要么你就弄两次
，先去renew一次，他们只能给到你的H1B到期的日子，等到你拿到了新的H1B，你再去
renew一次。其实驾照到期没什么大不了的，坐飞机的时候只要过期不超过一年就可以
，这个是我亲口听机场的安检人员说的，当时有一个老头的驾照到期了，安检人员提醒
他记得去renew，但是还是让他过了安检，因为他说只要不超过一年就行。所以你的事
情很普遍，你也怪不着学校,要怪只能怪加州的DMV对待H1B的政策，就我所知别的有些
州不是这样的，他们是按你5年（或者10年）之后的生日算得。 |

notice in 45 days, i asked them to do 180 days in advance. they refused to

I was rejected by using my expired DL at airport by TSA, I used my passport
instead.
yes, it is California. And I am fully aware of California DMV regulation, so
I requested ISO to renew my H1B in advance.
I waited for more than two months, and living without a DL in CA caused lots
of troubles in my life.
I cannot ask you for your understanding , but very annoyed by what you just
said. "it is no big deal, just waiting". I want you to imagine when someone
took your privilege of driving away for a few months, and especially when
you are living in a far distance to your work place.
I want to you live like that for a while, then come here to tell everyone, "
no big deal".
In summary:
1. You should never act like you are the ID expert, and tell people some
magic stories you heard from TSA staff member (I bet you did not heard such
a story from TSA). TSA's website clearly stated that no expired ID is
accepted.
2. You have no rights to tell people "your problems are no big deal". You
have no ideas what is exactly going in others' life. What you just said was
very ignorant.

replied my emails. Afterwards, she replied my email everyday now.
