Sorrento Valley Fellowship Faith and Work Panel Series
Session I: A Purpose-driven Career
Date and Time: February 28, 2013, 6 to 8 p.m. (Dinner provided)
Venue: Grace Chinese School (5550 Oberlin Drive, Suite B, San Diego, CA
92121)
Contact: m**********[email protected]
Introduction:
The objective of this series of career panel discussions intend to help
providing working professionals, especially ones with Chinese background, a
positive outlook and practical guidelines in today’s working environment,
with Christian-faith-based principles and practical techniques that benefit
even non-Christians. In particular, the first of these sessions focus on
purpose-driven career: how to define the purpose and how to live out the
purpose. The panelists are seasoned and highly experienced Christian
working professionals who are highly regarded in their industries and
ministries. As we know there is not a single universal solution and formula
to our questions as every individual situation is different. What the
panelists can offer are the rich experiences and unique view points they
have from their life-long careers. The panel discussion is sponsored by
Chinese Bible Church of San Diego.
If you find resonance with some of the questions and discussion points, we
highly encourage you to come to the panel discussion. There will be a set
of panel questions followed by free Q&A to address any questions that you
may have. In order to prepare enough food we would appreciate if you could
please register by sending email to m**********[email protected] and tell us your
name and your industry sector. If you have any questions please also send
email to the same address above.
