On November 19th,2013, Registrar of Voters County of San Diego is going to
run the City of San Diego Special Municipal Election. Now, there are eleven
Mayoral candidates and you may have received the Sample Ballot in English
and/or in languages if you are eligible voters living in San Diego City.
We need your help to find Chinese Bilingual Poll Workers.
We still need 60+ poll workers for the following area:
Del Mar Heights
Rancho Bernardo
La Jolla, University City (UTC/UCSD areas)
Rancho Penasquitos
Clairemont, Serra Mesa
Pomerado, Scripp Ranch
Normal Heights
Mira Mesa
It is a volunteer work, a duty for citizens.
The poll worker will work on 11/19 Special Municipal Election (Tuesday whole
day: 06:00am-8:00pm depending on position assigned), the stipend for Poll
Worker is $75-175. For Bilingual speaker, there is $15 additional stipend is
from $90 to 190. (Chinese, Vietnamese, Filipino & Spanish)
The requirements for poll worker are:
· US Citizen
· Registered voters
· Prepare your own transportation
· Online training before class
· Attend two hour class
*If you are not living in San Diego City-such as Poway, Chula Vista or
Escondido; can travel and like to volunteer, you can still help!
