On a broader level, as the President has stated publicly, the United States
welcomes the continuing peaceful rise of China. The comments you are writing
about do not reflect mainstream views of China in the United States.

Amendment of the Constitution protects free speech, even if individuals

同意一个华人姐妹的话：
我觉得华人内部就有很多分歧，有人主张道歉就够了，有人主张Jimmy要被fire掉，结
果人家自然是道歉了事。道歉，玩文字游戏，我们怎么能玩得过人家？
从这事也看出来了，政府是不会管这种事情的，因为“言论自由 ”；FCC也不会管，我
收到FCC的回信了，一样，为了“言论自由”；中国人总想依靠政府讨个说法，在美国
是行不通的。 其实，最有效的武器是起诉Jimmy Kimmel. 看Food network 解雇 Paula
Deen, 没有白宫和FCC的干预， 只是因为有员工起诉她，结果就被fire了。

发帖数: 3591 | 5 是，这次就当华人上了一堂政治课，知道这些事以后应该怎么玩。说白了，美国
是个玩钱的社会，没钱请律师，没钱打击它的sponsor，找居委会、找单位领导
都是没用的渠道。慢慢来吧，既然咱们来了，就要按他们的规则办事，搞上访是
木有用滴。
我在change.org上签了好多次字，这还是第一次收到答复。往好了看，也许其他
的petition都没有达到预期人数，所以咱华人的动员能力还是很强的？往坏了看，
为啥其他的petition都没答复，就这个有答复了，是不是故意设计好了来恶心咱们
的？有点阴谋论的意思了。
再看这个答复本身，你说言论自由、说鸡毛道歉了，这些都还可以接受，没事扯个
中国和平崛起就有点转移矛盾，把这件事从人民内部矛盾往敌我矛盾上转了，这美
国的政治环境对华人更加不利了。
