Email:assemblymember.ting@assembly
.ca.gov 他是我们尽力争取的一票。 最好是自己能添加一些自己的意见, 能够写一篇
自己的文章是最好, 反正能够发那么多遍, 不会吃亏.
謝謝!
英文模板:Dear Assemblyman:
I have read over and analyzed the California Legislature Senate
Constitutional Amendment #5 and I am very troubled and concerned. This
Amendment, if passed, will bring the State of California back into the era
of Brown v. Board of Education, a time when systematic racism was not only
allowed but widely embraced by the government. This is a clear and obvious
construct and attempt to create institutional racism across the board for
our public education system. The University of California and the
California State University is the largest collective group of public
universities in this country. The integrity and standard behind our proud
University of California and the California State University systems cannot
be diminished back into an era that has been the black-eye and the darkest
moments in the history of the United States of America—racism. The
University of California and the California State University systems has
been successful because these two systems have been built on measuring, and
enrolling students based on integrity, character, and hard work of the
individual students, not the color of their skin. These two systems have
turned a blind eye towards color with a progressive stance on accomplishment
and merit. So why has Ed Hernandez been allowed to take this backwards
thinking and backwards moving Senate Constitutional Amendment #5 so far?
]The Senate Constitutional Amendment #5 is appallingly unacceptable for the
most progressive state of the union. We cannot strive to have the best
public universities if we force our universities to enroll students, not
based on merit, but based on the color of one’s skin. I understand the
disparaging difficulties that some ethnicities tend of have, however,
success is not a stranger to hard work and accomplishments and California
cannot stymie or punish those who work hard to accomplish an opportunity to
enroll at one of California’s public universities only to be turned away
because their skin color does not match that of the required quota—that is
institutional racism, the word that symbolizes the worst moments of the
United States, a word that the United States of America is still trying to
forget. So please explain to me this, why are trying to reestablish
institutional racism?
The Senate Constitutional Amendment #5 cannot be allowed to pass. This
amendment is a leap in the opposite direction and will potentially open the
floodgates to more prejudicial laws. If this amendment is allowed to pass,
then we might as well speed up Hernandez’s agenda and prohibit women from
voting, and reintroduce cotton plantations in the south.
The people of California are hard working. Let the laws reflect and reward
hard work.
Sincerely,
Dear XXX:
I am writing this email to bring to your attention on upcoming vote on SCA-5
, authored by Sen. Ed Hernandez. This bill is essentially another effort
trying to insert race as a factor in future University of California
admission. I firmly believe that this is against the fundamental belief of
US legal system that everyone should be equal regardless his/her race.
Therefore, I strongly urge you to vote NO on this matter. Our community
willwatch this vote very closely.
Thank you,XXX
Dear XXX,
Please vote "NO" on SCA-5. SCA-5 proposes using race as a factor for
admission decision making for California public university system. I urge
you to fight against SCA-5. Just as Martin Luther King said 41 years ago,
nochildren should be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content
oftheir character. Your child(ren) deserve this dream. Every American child
deserves this dream. Don't you agree? It is about right or wrong. The
answerdifferentiates a statesman from those politicians.
It's your choice which side you would like to be. Every voter who shares
thesame dream with Martin Luther King will watch your choice, and decide who
they are going to vote for next time. Therefore, I strongly urge you to
voteNO on this matter. Our community will watch this vote very closely.
Best regards,XXX
