Bilingual Executive Assistant (English/Mandarin) (La Jolla, CA)
compensation: Competitive salary; health benefits and vacation time after

La Jolla based interior design firm seeks full-time Bilingual (Mandarin)
Design Administrative Assistant to provide assistance--both creative &
administrative-- to Chief Creative Officer.
Candidate must be energetic, motivated, organized, and comfortable working
on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Our team prides ourselves
on superior design and outstanding customer service, and we're looking for
someone to join our talented team. Great attitude, professional demeanor,
and sense of humor are three musts!
Requirements:
- Bilingual in Chinese (Mandarin)
- AA degree or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design
- Minimum 2 years' experience working in fast-paced, professional office
environment
- Familiarity with using an architectural scale & reading scaled floor
plans, elevations, and details (CAD experience not required, but always a
plus!)
- Intermediate to advanced training and/or experience with Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Professional appearance, attitude, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent project/time management and follow through skills
- Extremely organized, detail oriented, with excellent grammar and
spelling
- Team player who supports all managers and employees
- Ability to be flexible and supportive
Compensation, details & benefits:
- $12-15 per hour (would vary depending on work experience)
- Medical, dental & vision insurance partially paid by employer
- Paid sick/vacation days
- Paid holidays
- 40 hours per week, sometimes more as needed
- Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:30 pm with one hour lunch
Job Description and Details:
- Field phone calls and emails
- Compose correspondence to clients, vendors and associates
- Generate paperwork for travel, reimbursals, and job costing
- Coordinate and schedule meetings and presentations (including
preparation of conference room, and assembly of meals, snacks, and drinks)
- Update weekly schedules and follow-up with clients for current
installation dates
- Assist with selection, documentation, and coordination of interior
design elements
- Accompany/assist Chief Creative Officer with client meetings as needed
(must be available for travel, occasional late nights and possible
overnights)
- Prepare and send interior specifications packages to clients, and make
revisions as needed
- Order, receive, label and organize samples for projects and
presentations
- Check stock & pricing for goods
- Special projects as requested | s*******2
