We do not adjust to CA life style -- buying a house is purchasing a dream.
Our life style - buying a house is looking for a good deal.
It is very hard to get a good/fair deal in CA when economics is in up-trend.
We are low paid software engineer.年薪加起来only have about $210K.Our
salary income drop about 30% comparing our income in AZ. And the SD house
price is 3x of arizona house price.
My wife wanted to move to SD, I was pushed to move.I keep qutsioning the
move.
Although our income drop a lot after coming to SD. I thought we could still
have comfortable life with the help of investment income.
However, the life is not as easy as I expected.
We rented an old house. Last month, the toilet clogged every week under
normal usage, that drove me crazy. I am pretty handy, I fixed the problem by
myself. It took 2,3 days to fix a clogged. the clogged happened 4 times in
a month!
First, we tried to buy a house at Scripps ranch, after looking for about one
year, we gave up.
Then, We moved down to houses in ca 92120 and ca92115, we gave up because
the price is still too high.
We plans to move out of SD if the house price do not drop in 2 years.

We rented an old house. Last month, the toilet clogged (GOT CLOGGED) every
week (EVERYDAY?) under (WITH) normal usage, that (IT) drove me crazy. I am
pretty handy, I fixed the problem by myself. It took (ME) 2,3 days to fix a
clogged (TOILET). the clogged (CLOG) happened 4 times in (NO IN) a month!
First (NO FIRST), we tried to buy a house at (IN) scripps ranch (AREA),
after looking for (A HOUSE FOR) about one year, we gave up. Then, We moved
down (?SHIFTED OUR GOAL) to houses in (WITH) ca (ZIP CODE OF, NO CA) 92120
and ca92115 , we gave up
(AGAIN) because the price is (WAS) still too high.
We plans (PLAN) to move out of SD if the house price do (DOES) not drop in
2 years
(BYE BYE, SEE YA ON THE FLIP SIDE).

I think one is less likely to 是个骗子 if his 英语很烂.
my ways to detect 骗子
1. If it is too good to be true, then it is.
2. Does he try to sell you something?
3. Does he ask money to invest for you?
I should fell very luck to be able to make good money! --- 英语很烂, 中文也
很烂.
my strength is engineering.
I just post my thought to get inputs to help me to make decision, and to
entailment chinese SDers.

We get low pay, however I think it is [fair pay], not [under
pay].

I am struggling to stay in SD, and preparing to move to a lower-cost(lower

Last week, I offered my tenant who is a AC guy to repair my AC in AZ for $
200 per
hour at weekend. He said he did not want to work at weekend.
I work so hard... I should be more financial success.

dissatisfies myself.
I developed an auto stock trading system to use new ways to manage my stocks
. Will see if that works better in 2 years.
I will work until I drop because of high housing price in SD.
