I fall down 3 times.not fun.
during the time of take out the old shingle.
I loss 20 lbs for doing this roof in one month.

since when you rip off the old shingle or board, you have to cover it ASAP.
I cover it but still get leak to the house. I damage the ceiling (big hole).
later, I learn a better way to cover it.
my roof explore 3 weeks only cover with paper.if rain, it is good to check
where is leak, before put the shingle on.
very important of how to lay down a black paper.

price will be more expensive than shingle, but much pretty.

40 years one.
my agent has been telling me it will cost 15-20k to replace roof. i think it
is too much, so i pass all the houses that need new ones.
its good to know. maybe next time i wont keep away from houses with old
roofs
