标 题: 借钱买房的税务问题

我打算问亲戚借钱买房,当然同时还申请房贷
为了申请银行贷款顺利, 我们的loan agent建议将亲戚借的钱写成"gift"
我们会另外写借据证明是借而不是赠送.
可是国税局规定赠款超过1万二要交税,
请问这样做有被迫交增款税的风险么?

federal tax." So you don't have to pay gift tax.
But if your relative lives in USA, they may have to pay. Since the gift
annual exclusion is increased to $13K in 2009, it is easy to spread the
money into several persons gift transfer to avoid tax for them. |
