Description:
Perform analytical failure analysis to support Fremont Media New Product
Development, Process Development and Test Development. Primary
responsibilities are to provide FE-SEM/EDS analyses which involve the
creative application of high resolution imaging and elemental
characterization of media and test head samples related to a wide range of
projects.
Qualifications:
AA or BS/BA degree in a physical science area, ie. Chemistry, Physics,
Materials Science related.
Prefer analytical experience or knowledge at SEM/EDX, AFM, OSA, FTIR, Raman,
GC/MS, FIB, or other analytical techniques. Qualified candidate will have
the aptitude to understand hard disk and drive processes and to be trained
at multiple analytical methods. You must possess excellent skills on
communication and problem-solving. You should also have the ability to
prioritize your workload, to work independently, and to be available to work
any shift and work over time as needed.
Must be willing to work Evening Shift and/or weekend. |
