Summary:
NetSuite is looking for an exceptional, self-directed Product Manger to
drive and manage components of our innovative and award winning SuiteCloud
Platform. You will be responsible for the SuiteScript customization and
SuiteBuilder configuration areas of the platform, including APIs that are
used in application development on the NetSuite platform. As a NetSuite
product manager, your responsibilities will include understanding customer
and developer partner needs, creating the product strategy, gathering
requirements, managing feature backlogs, and working with world-class teams
to deliver these features.
To be successful in this role, you will need a solid understanding of SaaS
platform development technologies and on-demand market direction. An ideal
candidate will have extensive knowledge in API design, customization tools,
and design and development of quality products. The SuiteCloud Platform
product manager will have a deep understanding of customer needs, as well as
the developer community, and has the ability to build products that meet
the needs of both audiences.
Responsibilities:
* Deeply understand the needs of current and target customers/developers
through quantitative and qualitative customer research. Passionately
represent the voice of the customer and developer community to internal
teams.
* Prioritize features and investments to get the maximum customer
benefit and drive continuing growth of NetSuite.
* Participate in developing the overall SuiteCloud product strategy and
roadmap. Create, execute and communicate the multi-year roadmap to achieve
the goals and strategy for this critical product area.
* Own the product backlog and prioritize product enhancements, customer
and partner requests by making smart, decisive tradeoffs using data-driven
analysis and sound judgment.
* Proactively conceive, document and drive the creation of new features.
Create use cases, user stories, and detailed product requirements that
clearly articulate desired product functionality.
* Collaborate with Development, QA, Doc, and UI to deliver great
products to our customers.
* Partner with Marketing, Sales, Professional Services and Support to
successfully rollout our products and ensure a great end-to-end customer
experience.
* Participate in customer facing events and partner conferences as a
product expert.
Qualifications/Skills:
* At least 5 years technical product management, product development, or
technical professional services experience. A solid understanding of the
product development lifecycle and product management processes.
* Familiarity with general programming languages and concepts.
Experience building web-based applications is preferred. JavaScript or other
scripting language experience is preferred.
* Excellent strategic thinking and prioritization skills. Ability to
create a winning roadmap to achieve business goals while making difficult
tradeoff decisions.
* Ability to make recommendations and decisions independently, to sell
ideas to management and make convincing arguments for the direction of the
products.
* Passion for and ability to understand customer needs and deliver great
solutions. A track record for building products with exceptional user
experience.
* A track record of successfully working with development, QA, and
technical writing to deliver quality products.
* Strong organizational skills: task prioritization, effective time
management, meeting facilitation, conflict resolution, and risk
identification and mitigation.
* Excellent communication and cross-functional teamwork skills.
* Computer Science or similar degree.

Principal Firmware Development Engineer – Milpitas, Calif.
As a key contributor in the MegaRAID firmware development team, the
principal engineer will lead the architectural design and development of
RAID firmware components. The principal engineer will interact with SW/HW
engineering teams, product management and OEM customers defining
architecture and features for our first-in-class RAID HBA solutions. BSCS or
equivalent with 7 to 10 years or MSCS or equivalent with 5 to 8 years of
embedded software development experience in storage.
Staff Firmware Development Engineer – Milpitas, Calif.
Responsible for firmware development on MegaRAID host-based SAS/SATA RAID
controllers. Participate in all aspects of design and product development
through introduction and release. Duties include design, code development,
debug and integration testing of the completed product, as well as
engineering support for QA testing. BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer
Science or Computer Engineering with 8+ years of storage firmware
development experience, or MS with 6+ years of storage firmware development
experience.
