you should be able to talk to your kid to stay calm.

发帖数: 3319 | 3 我儿子4岁时补牙，做crown, 只用了笑气。很多医生不用全麻的，有用笑气，有用

发帖数: 1043 | 4 My son did one crown and one filing when he was 5, our pediatric dentist did
a fantastic job. He told him he was taking out sugar bugs during the
process and told my son how many bugs left, etc. He also let my son play
with some of his instruments for a little bit before treatment so my son
will not feel scared. He chatted with my son about my son's fun stories ....
My son was not nervous and I do not think he got 全麻.
My daughter (3 year old) cried badly when went see another dentist. Then we
brought her to see Dr. Grant and she was very happy. Because Dr. Grant was
so gentle and so fun, take time entertainment kids so that they are very
relaxed. We appreciate Dr. Grant so much. He has been in the pediatric
dentistry over 30+ years because many parents in the waiting room told me
they themselves were Dr. Grant patients.
Every time after cleaning/treatment, he will talk to the parents in his
office for knowledge and the current development of kids' teeth, so that
parents are well-aware about potential problem and pay attention to them as
prevention. fabulous doctor!
He is teaching in UCSF dental school I think.
