就也这样也没有什么问题，问题是那里的trafic还非常可怕，弯曲最堵的路估计就是237在milpitas的那一段了。
基本上也就东湾工作的人或者milpitas工作的人能住那里，但是，东湾工作的人为啥不住fremont？ 房子便宜多了。南湾工作的人也没有兴趣住那边去啊，价格和sunnyvale比没有什么明显优势。
总之呢，其实也就是远离工作，交通堵塞了。

typical silicon valley 小黑屋, commute to 101 corridor companies is better
than Cupertino/Fremont, 幸福屯、暖泉, Evergreen.
don't take 237， instead take Montogue, traffic is light even during peak
commute hour. 237 is very congested due to commutes from Fremont
direction.
east of 680, there is no bad smell as in the area near 880. school is decent

发帖数: 3417 | 14 可以说现在招人多的公司不在那里。那一块的公司都是成熟没在grow的公司，本身可能不小，但是招新人不多。
除了你提到的，那块其实还有LSI, Cadence什么的，但是都很成熟了，湾区本部招人很少。

As to smell, please drive to Dixon Landing fill ground, you can find they
has excellent waste processing system, only up to one hundred meter, then
you can smell some (depending on how good your nose is). Most houses are
several miles away, right side to the I-880.

作用。
而且milpitas 的asisan很多人是菲，越。不是归公传统定义里的asian.

发帖数: 639 | 18 关于臭味，经实地考察，应该不是那个垃圾填埋场发出来的。他们技术很先进，每埋一
层垃圾，中间都会加一层专用的材料防止扩散，一层一层的，不是国内那种露天的垃圾
场，几乎就没有什么味道发出来，对环境的保护也确实很到位。
那个味道应该来自垃圾堆附近的几个废水处理池，因为地势较低，整个硅谷的生活废水
都会流到那个处理池，很多个池子连在一起很壮观，一层一层得沉淀过滤，然后满足排
放标准后才得以进入湾里，这个没办法只能是露天的。所以刮风的时候会闻到一点潲水
的味道，也不是什么大不了的事，觉得没必要妖魔化Milpitas。
这里菲人，越南人比较多倒是事实，还有些老莫，老中也不少。
