It's a common mistake. Many Americans have trouble distinguishing "we're" "
were" and "where." Also you're vs. your. Everyday vs. every day. For
someone growing up speaking English first and reading/writing later, this
confusion is quite natural and common. |

those two girls I know, both of them were born n raised in the US, and both
of them got parents who are first generation immigrates, not from Asia
though. But I cannot believe they do not know the difference between where
and were. They told me its just a typo...
