I don't think he's learning this for fun or for his girlfriend..
It would be interesting to see it compete with Baidu, QQ, taobao.
and see who is more 无赖 to gain users

Mark is very pragmatic and not interested in politicas at all.
He went to China to seek cooperation with Baidu in 2010. I will not be
surprised if he bends over to Chinese government and make Renn-facebook
under the monitoring of CCP and make it isolated from facebook, which ccp
has no control over.
FB is deperate for growth. China is an easy-picking fruits. Google left
because it's not evil enough.
