traffic is heavy, somebody will pick you up and drive on the car pool lane.
It's much easier than holding a sign like I'm homeless at many intersections for a few bucks.
My conclusion is Americans are stupid.

I just don't understand why so many white people standing at the exit and
entrance to the main traffic road asking for money directly, not taking
advantage of this car pool rule.

People will wait at particular locations to get a ride across the bridge,
and you go there and pick them up (because the toll is cheaper with carpool) |
