如果邻居翻新房子，不管自己的房子是否要翻新都翻新。如果邻居的房子盖高了，不管
自己家里几个人，也加盖一层，不管用得着用不着。

对农民来说，土地，房屋这些看得到摸得着的东西远比存折里的数字有意义得多。不要
小看农民的智慧，事实也是如此，如何货币都是一个贬值的过程，唯有房屋土地是长期
增值的，当然你要是巴菲特类的牛人就当我fp。
anyway，IT农民的本质思想还是一样的，就是守住自己的一亩三分地，或者跳块好地多
收个三五斗。真正能跳出来，创造生活，享受生活的，很少。

In addition, while real assets do protect you against paper currency
devaluation, they don't protect you from over-valuation. Otherwise why don't
you buy my little dark house at 100m? After all, it's real asset and will
protect you against paper currency devaluation. Keep in mind, asset prices,
as those of consumables, are ALSO determined by the supply and demand curve
(if we allow market price discovery to work -- it's not the case today, but
the market does work in the long term). How asset prices move in both
inflationary and deflationary environment is an interesting yet challenging
mental exercise and I can assure it's not a simple one-way linear chart.
There is only one asset class, money as the store of wealth, that is not
quite affected by the demand and supply curve, and even that is disputable
because the demand and supply of money do change, albeit not that dramatic.
Keep in mind, people can store their wealth in money, which is equivalent of
saying they can "save" their future demand. As what is the real money, I'll
leave that question to yourself.
