But public school does not issue I-20, so he can only stay legally for 6
months.

发帖数: 155 | 6 一般的私立寄宿高中都有可能发I20，只有极少数的公立发。如果是要更多的选择，估
计还是要考虑美东北地区，那里学校选择余地多。如果是湾区，可以参考：

Fremont christian school for international students are $18000 per school
year. How is this school? Is it good?

发帖数: 34 | 8 Generally all private high schools cost about 16000 a year and that number
is rather low within the average range of total annual tuition. So $18000 is
not that bad.
To consider whether it's expensive or not, you should really look into the
school's quality such as academic curriculum (i.e. their teachers'
background, students' average SAT scores/college acceptance rates, number of
AP classes offered, and more), facilities (i.e. classrooms, cafeterias,
pools, gyms, lockers, etc.), and more.
Fremont Christian School is rather new, it's not bad but it also depends on
what you are looking for. I can assist you further with the selection and

grade of the applicant and TOFEL score etc. Actually I am the recruiting
representative of several high schools in northern and southern cal. I have
to get a basic understanding of your relative to determine which school is
the right fit for him.
