DNA sequencing is a very confusing market. It seems hot companies such as
PB, Fluidigm, and Illumina all had some down time within one year or so.
Is it a good field to jump in now?

semiconductor has some mergers, novellus has bought by lam research, HGST
bought by western digital. Is it a down time now? Last year I heard
semiconductor was doing great, they bought a lot of instrument.

The HR of the organic group is a Chinese. Well, maybe not, he said he's from
HongKong.We talked both in English and Chiese, and I think I behaved pretty
good during the interview since he told me he is satisfied with my
background and qualification. However, it ended up with I didn't even get a
on-site opportunity and last week I just got a email to inform me that this
position is filled .... |
