to comment on the current state of affairs. When asked how we should pay
back the money the U.S. owes to China, one child at the table suggested in
an unscripted comment that America “kill everyone in China.” Kimmel
chuckled and said, “Okay, that’s an interesting idea,” and soon jokingly
asked a follow up: “Should we allow the Chinese to live?” The kids gave
mixed responses.
ABC issued an apology late last week to one Asian-American group that
complained about the skit, stating that "Our objective is to entertain".!!!?

Basiclly, J. Kimmel has run out of ways to entertain people besides
suggesting killing a race. |

yo) to his pre-recorded 10/16 night comedy skit to help solve problems.
Kimmel led with the question, "we owe the Chinese a lot of money, 1.3
trillion dollars", what to do? One little kid immediately launched into a
solution, which involved killing everyone in China. The audience (or
audience track) laughed at this and Jimmy Kimmel also laughed and commented
"that's an interesting idea". Later on, he seemed to lead back to the same
idea with "So should we allow the Chinese to live?" The kids kept
laughing and said "yes" and "no".
This skit was widely distributed in China and triggered widespread outrage
for several reasons:
1. Kids talked about extreme violence in a flippant manner, apparently
encouraged by adults who laughed with them.
2. Disney/ABC had a choice to edit out this skit, yet chose to keep it in, "
for entertainment purposes". As one of the world's greatest children's
companies, Disney demonstrated no sensitivity to violence and hate speech,
and no respect for human life and dignity.
3. Jimmy Kimmel practiced race-baiting and racial scape-goating by singling
out the Chinese debt for special attention. In fact, Chinese debt is a
small portion of the US government debt(1/7), and negligible portion of the
entire US government obligations (<1/20). Jimmy Kimmel catered to audience
's taste and manipulated very young kids for crude entertainment.
We protest Disney's decision to air this skit and consider the idea about "
killing everyone in China" material for cheap jokes. This idea is just
wrong on every level. Disney must take responsibility and fire Jimmy
Kimmel publicly, and apologize publicly and sincerely. Disney must walk its
talk and start protecting the children from hate speech and violent media
messages.
Otherwise Disney will be sued, boycotted and bankrupted.

Racism is no Joke

文的那种。米国人从小就玩这个，我们比较缺乏相关经验。应该是WORD就可以做的。
我再找找，看能不能搞一个出来。

我们要客观， 准确， 并且一针见血的指出要害.
要给出时间 （OCt.28)， 地点 （JKshow,ABC)， 发生了什么, 要中英文两个版本:
Kimmel discusses US now owe China 1.3 trillion $ and how to pay this debt.
One kid: KILL ALL Chinese!
Kimmel (chuckle): that is an INTERESTING idea
Kimmel: Should we ALLOW CHINESE to LIVE?
我们的态度：
Teach kid to kill today, school shooting tomorrow!
Genocide is not funny!
Chinese do not need Kiemmel's permission to live!

要不要粗体有引号里的内容？ 通常这么长的flyer 我都懒得读，除非有一些醒目的内
容抓住我的眼球。

发帖数: 2989 | 19 我觉着，一个版的传单，口号最好一个主题？不然不明真相的群众看了，会confused
中美怎样怎样，放在另外的传单吧。我再设计点别的口号的。
目前这个版本，主要强调Killing is NO Joke，和 teach kids to love, not to kill
boycott ABC，和左边要求ABC解雇jimmy的有些逻辑冲突啊。一方面抵制公司，一方面
要公司解雇下属。我觉得两者留一个就好。我挺喜欢 左边的口号，就保留了。抵制ABC
、disney，还有中美关系，等等，可以在别的传单上写
