district 22 (penisula) and will be campaign against Kevin Mullin. He got
about 28% of votes in 2012 so it is a long shot for him to beat Mullin. But
if we can get the about 25% Asian to stand behind him, we can at least send
a very strong voice to Sacramento.

Thank you for your E-mail. I plan on working throughout the county and
cities over this election cycle.
One issue I am currently working on is reminding people what America is
really about. It does bother me to see the direction this country and state
is heading. Free enterprise markets, limited government and low taxation are
the direction that made America the country were are today. These values
are what I plan on reminding people during this election for office.
But there is a new bill just passed in the California State Senate: SCA 5
which will harm all American’s living in California. Listed below is the
information which might interest you and friends.
On Jan 30, 2014, California State Senate passed SCA 5 titled Public
education: student recruitment and selection. It was introduced by Democrat
Senator Hernandez and supported by ALL except one of the 28 Democrat
senators.
Essentially, SCA5 allows and mandates that entire California public
education system to include race and gender in their admission criteria. In
the name of promoting social equality, this bill seeks to revoke part of
Proposition 209 passed in 1996 by California voters that prohibits racial
and gender discrimination in public education.
The proponents of this bill claim that the high ratio of Asian students and
female students currently enrolled in public universities in California
deprives Hispanic kids a fair chance to receive higher education. Therefore,
the real goal of this bill is to unfairly and significantly reduce the
chance for Asian students and female students to pursue higher education in
California.
We as neighbor's living in this community should have no room for racial
discrimination and tension, I ask you to read the following three items to
have a better understanding of the ugliness of this unconscionable decision
made stealthily behind our back.

This just one issue among many that is causing harm to our communities and
state. If we are going to stop this bill and others, we are going to need to
hold these people and others account for bad bills. One way is to first let
people know that this is occurring. Another is to inform each other and
work together to remove people with this mind set from office. After all,
America is the land of the free and opportunity with access to all is our
right under our Constitution both federal and state.
