650M 的 bond 后， 马上会来的是什么呢？27个小学，5 个高中从这个里面没有或得
一分钱。 小学和高中不重要吗？当然不是。 小学和高中不需要扩容和修屋顶吗？当然
不是。所以如果这个通过， 下面来的是不是只要 650M 呢？
Vote NO on measure E!

See pages 92, 93, 94 for the School Board Approved Allocation, by school and
by category of how $407,727,000 of Measure E monies will be spent. The
remainder of the $650,000,000 (60% of the allocated spending) is set aside
for "inflation and overruns."
Take Note That:
27 elementaries and all 5 high schools are allocated zero Measure E dollars
to Category 4. “Plumbing & Restrooms.”
All 28 elementaries and all 5 high schools are allocated zero Measure E
dollars for Category 2. “Science & Classroom Technology”.
27 elementaries and all 5 high schools are allocated zero Measure E dollars
for Category 9. “New & Replacement Classrooms.”
520 homes will be built at Patterson Ranch in Spring 2015, 2700 homes are
currently planned in Warm Springs, 800 along Guardino Way, more at the
Sisters of the Holy Family site, and on smaller lots throughout Fremont.
Thousands more are in the City planning pipeline.

发帖数: 661 | 3 这个投入和产出没有说一定有联系吧？这钱不可以用于涨工资， 对教师积极性不会有
影响。直接好处是那些建筑包工头们和建商，所以你看在捐款推的都是那些人。
没看见任何烂学区比好区更获益的可能性。

If some contractor offers to remodel your house for $500K you will call him
insane since $500K will build you a brand new house.
However when politicians propose to spend $30M to renovate an elementary
school when $30M is probably the price tag for a brand new school somewhere
else, everyone seems ok with that.
I'll definitely vote no to measure E but I am also pessimistic about the
result since most people will just blindly vote yes without reading the fine
prints. "Yes on E" boards are now everywhere in the neighborhood and not
many people are working to raise awareness against it. |

common in CA because of Democrat majority.

只能希望过了后能够match 部分州里的钱。

Most people don't know much about it. Also it is hard to unite people to
against this since it seems politically right at the first sight. Not as
obviously wrong as SCA5.
Just as above post said: Most people "just blindly vote yes without reading

and not many people are working to raise awareness against it."
I also didn't know about it until it was discussed here. Just by reading the
print on the ballots, it will be very misleading for people, since they
thought they just support the education.
Sad. Two vote from us for "No", but no use. |
