I am afraid I am a too lazy. Now I am engaged in Zeitgeist, in the same time,
dappling in James Gleick's Sir Isaac Newton.
Some feeling about Pattern Recognition:
1. Weak ploting, as his previous novels
2. Characterization is so so, ramshackle dialog
3. Apple fan, just like me, :-), and eBay buff
4. genre buster
5. turgid but sometimes gorgeous prose, with a uncanny similarity with Poul
Anderson
