Just finished the Homecoming series. Started Ender's Game. Anyone likes to

I will start with what I don't like (obviously I like the author enough to
keep reading). In his book there always seems to be a bad guy who is
absolutely evil but for some reason the author just keep him alive and trying
to wreck the whole mission. The other characters in the book have enough
intelligence to know that the guy is bad and he is going to be a threat and
