What do u mean" isotropic" here? Does it mean any vector is its eigenvector?
If so, then we have:
A.x=p*x, for any vector x. A.y=q*y, then
A.(x-y)=p*x-q*y.
Only when p=q, (x-y) is a eigenvector of A. So we know for any vector x,
A.x=p*x, where p is a constant. That means A=p*I, where I is the identity
matrix.
Is it clear? |
