seems that
these experiments are similar. The superluminal velocity is
only apparant,
it is produced by sending and receiving particularly shaped
"signals". These
signals, although apparantly maintaining their shape,
actually were "reshaped"
by absorption, interference, diffraction, or other effects
en route, thus a naive
reading of the measurement yiels superluminal velocity.
